Hello, I’m Ottavia Tagliavini,
your local personal assistant, the manager of RentalMilan.com and the owner of the apartment called Otty.
I was born in Milan in 1975. I got a degree in Public & Relations at IULM university in 2000.
After my graduation, I worked in Roberto Cavalli press office, an Italian fashion brand, for 1 year.
Then I was a media planner in 2 international advertising agencies in Milan for 6 years.
I have been the CEO of PANORA, a sole business to develop 360° Virtual Tours among the real estate agencies.
In the same time I created Rental Milan in 2008 and there was only my apartment published on the website!
Some friends of mine asked me to help them to rent out their flats.
Initially I tried to rent apartments for very short terms, but then I chose to rent them in a 3-12 months range, let’s say with a “medium term”, on my opinion the best solution for international students and the landlords as well.
It’s not easy to find an accommodation in Milan for stays shorter than 1 year, usually it’s requested a contract of even “4+4 years”.
Furthermore r.e. agencies websites are usually just in Italian and you can’t see properly the apartments if you aren’t in Milan (just a few pictures and lack of information).
