After showers or cooking, ventilate. This is the best moment to reduce humidity and prevent dampness in kitchens and bathrooms.

• The apartment must be ready and accessible for inspection.

Standard hours and additional fee

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Early, late or weekend appointments: €70 additional fee
• The fee must be paid in cash directly to the staff member assisting you.

Check-in and check-out are not available on:

• January 1st and 6th
• Easter
• April 25th
• May 1st
• June 2nd
• November 2nd
• August 14th–16th
• December 25th–26th.

If your flight is on one of these dates, please:

How your check-in works

A few days before your arrival, Jim Kristal from JV Cleaning will contact you on WhatsApp to arrange the exact day and time.

On the day of check-in

• Meet the JV Cleaning representative directly at the apartment.
• If your flight is delayed, send a WhatsApp message.
• When waiting for your luggage at Malpensa Airport, send another message to confirm your timing.

At the apartment

• Inspect the apartment together.
• Complete the official Check-in Checklist.
• Record the condition of the apartment, furniture and equipment.
• Receive all keys.
• Receive the main instructions about the apartment and neighborhood.

Important things to check

• House Rules and QR code
• location of the electricity main switch or meter
• heating and air-conditioning instructions
• how to increase the boiler water pressure, if needed
• 🛜 Wi-Fi name and password
• buzzer and mailbox details.

If there is a doorman, give him a paper with your full name. This will help him recognize you and manage your mail or packages.

How your check-out works

A few days before your departure, JV Cleaning will contact you on WhatsApp to arrange the exact time.

The apartment should be left in the same condition in which you found it at check-in.

Before the appointment

• remove all personal belongings
• throw away all food
• empty the fridge and freezer
• take out all garbage
• leave the apartment tidy and accessible.

What will be checked

• general condition of the apartment
• walls, floors, windows and visible surfaces
• furniture, beds, mattresses, pillows and sofas
• bed linen and towels
• kitchenware and household equipment
• electrical appliances
• all keys received at check-in.

Please report anything that is damaged, missing or not working properly.

Before the representative leaves

• complete the official Check-out Checklist
• return all keys
• provide your bank details for the security deposit refund.

Security deposit, final cleaning and damages

Final deep cleaning

• The final deep cleaning is carried out after check-out.
• If no maintenance is required, it is usually completed within 7 working days.
• JV Cleaning inspects the apartment again after cleaning.
• The cleaning cost is deducted from the security deposit.

The cost depends on:

• the size of the apartment
• the number of occupants
• the condition in which the apartment is left.

Possible deductions

• final cleaning
• extra cleaning, if needed
• repair of damages
• replacement of damaged or missing items
• utility overconsumption, when applicable.

Refund timing

If no problems are reported and no maintenance is required, the deposit is usually refunded approximately one month after the check-out and you provide your bank details.

The refund may take longer if:

• technicians must inspect damages or provide estimates
• maintenance work is required
• the check-out takes place during the summer or Christmas holidays
• the landlord must wait for utility bills because consumption limits apply.

Final cleaning can only be completed after all maintenance work has finished. The deposit cannot be refunded before the final cleaning invoice has been received.

Any bank transfer fees are at the tenant’s expense. The landlord can refund only the amount actually received and cannot cover bank charges deducted during the transfer.
